Girl Scouts of the USA has designed several on-line adult learning courses/trainings to help you understand the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and become familiar with the new program materials.
Both new and experienced leaders will learn more about basic Girl Scouting, the
Journeys and the Girls' Guide to Girl Scouting. Check it out for yourself
Girl Scouting 101 password is aboutGS101
It takes 45 minutes has options to start and stop and also has resources on each page
that if you choose to, you can print and have those resources right at your finger tips.
The on-line trainings can be accessed by going to http://training.girlscouts.org
1. Your First stop online will be Girl Scouting 101 adult learning course. This can be found at http://training.girlscouts.org and the password is aboutGS101. You will then Sign In - for Council Name: From the drop down menu go all the way to the bottom and Choose: USA Girl Scout Overseas
USAGSO? - Choose: West Pacific (USAGSO-WP) from the drop down menu and
your on-line training will begin.
2. Here's your link to Volunteer Essentials that is mentioned at the end of
Girl Scouting 101
3. Your next stop will be with your Overseas Committee Chair (OCC) or a
member of the Overseas Committee Management Team (OCMT) for a face
to face orientation with the things that are specific to your installation and
Girl Scouting. When you are ready for this next step please call or e-mail
