Q: What is USA Girl Scouts - West Pacific?
A: Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) is the largest voluntary organization for girls and young women in the world. It is open to all girls ages five through 17 (or kindergarten through grade 12) who subscribe to its ideals as stated in the Girl Scout Promise and Law.

Since the early 1950's, Girl Scouting in the Pacific Rim has been a Girl Scouts of the USA tradition. USA Girl Scouts Overseas - West Pacific (USAGSO - West Pacific) is an overseas extension of GSUSA. Its purpose is to develop, guide and maintain Girl Scouting for American girls living overseas.

Our services are arranged between the military command and GSUSA. Girl Scout troops are organized by Overseas Committees, which are supported by USAGSO - West Pacific. Each Overseas Committee organizes and maintains Girl Scout troops within its particular location.
