Financial support for USA Girl Scouts Overseas-West Pacific is derived from the broader community. We receive support through grants, the Combine Federated Campaign, through non appropriated dollars from all branches of the military, special events like the auction at the Winter Conference, sponsorships and through individual contributions. 

 

On behalf of the 2900 members we served this last year, the staff of USAGSO - WP would very much like to thank those who give both time and resources to Girl Scouts.  Without your generosity, we could not be successful in building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. By contributing, you receive the benefit of knowing that you are helping to support:

·         Camps for girls

·         Leadership conferences for both volunteers and girls

·         Free training for leaders

·         Program packs to support troop programs

·         Financial Assistance to help girls and adults attend the camps and conferences provided by USAGSO – West Pacific

The feeling of knowing that you are helping girls in discovering themselves, connecting with others and taking action to make the world a better place. 

 

Girl Scout families are encouraged to make a minimum contribution of $15 per family to USAGSO – West Pacific. It is easiest to do this at the time of registration, but the donation may be made anytime during the year. Each registered girl member in the family will receive a special Family Partner patch. The Overseas Committee will receive 25% of the contribution (maximum of $25) back to help support local Girl Scout programs.

You can help ensure that every girl in USA Girl Scouts Overseas - West Pacific who wants to have FUN can do it. You can help guarantee the quality of the program delivered directly to the girls exceeds their wildest expectations. USAGSO-WP spends about $230 per year to provide materials, training, financial assistance and support for just one girl.  Every dollar is spent with the end product in mind - developing girls to their full potential.  While we use our resources wisely, they only stretch so far, and we could never do this without the generous support of individuals.  If you are interested in making a contribution, please email westpacificceo@gmail.com or call DSN 263-3597 (from outside Japan: 011-81-46-407-3597).  We are sorry that at this time, we cannot take online contributions.
