A New Year of Girl Scouting in Sasebo! We are getting geared up for the new school year! We have 6 troops forming for our girls at Sasebo. Click here to contact USA Girl Scouts Overseas - Sasebo  Kindergarten age girls begin the fun and friendship of Girl Scouting as they explore the world of people, crafts, science, outdoors, and well-being. We are currently looking for enthusiastic people to work with this dynamic age level! We are thrilled to announce that we will have double trouble this year. We have two troops ready to welcome new members as well as new adult volunteers. Brownie Girl Scouts are 1st through 3rd grades. Girls at this age level try everything as they earn "Try-It" recognitions for topics such as safety, crafts, field trips, culture, and more. Junior Girl Scouts, grades 4th through 6th, are a dynamic group of maturing young ladies. Girls at this age level earn badges, performs community service, and travel to local cultural destinations. We hope to have two Junior Girl Scout troops this year. Sasebo abounds with girls 7th grade and up who need a place to enjoy their peers in an positive environment.
